米馬羊藝廊～內在的流動

Since the Taichung Artists Relay Exhibition, I’ve had many new ideas, which led me to spend some time in seclusion, focusing on creation. During this period, I participated in several exhibitions — the Taichung Contemporary Artists Invitational Exhibition, the Muguang Art Association Joint Exhibition at the Zhongli Art Museum, and the Four-Artist Shuttle Exhibition organized by Biluo Gallery at the Taipei International Convention Center.

There were also many other matters that demanded my attention, making it difficult to fully concentrate on painting. However, I realized that these unexpected events sometimes provide me with nourishment and inspiration.

By the end of this creative phase, I felt as though I had exhausted my ideas. Yet, my works continued to revolve around my feelings toward Taiwan and my inner reflections. Over the past year, this ongoing dialogue with myself and exploration of my inner world have helped me make progress — both in how I handle composition and how I convey emotion.

I’ve come to understand that my art doesn’t need to cater to others’ critiques; I only need to be accountable to myself. Perhaps my works are not yet fully mature, but they represent a process of moving forward. Through my paintings, one can trace the path I’ve taken from the past to the present.

At this stage of my journey, I seek neither fame nor profit — I paint solely to express the emotions within my heart.

自從台中市藝術家接力展後，我就有一些新的想法，所以持續的閉關創作。這期間有台中市當代藝術家的邀請展，沐光畫會中壢藝術館的聯展。還有蓽籮藝廊於台北國際會議中心的四人穿梭聯展。還有許多的事情需要處理，並無法專注創作。不過我發現這些突如其來的事情有時候也會給我一些養份。而此次創作到最後覺得已經用盡了想法，所有的創作主題依舊圍繞我對台灣的感受和自我內在的思考，然而這一年多不斷地和自我的對話及不斷的探索自我。讓我在畫面的處理和情感的傳遞感受，其實又往前進了一步，我的創作無需考慮別人的批評，只需對自己負責，或許我的作品還不夠成熟，但這都只是我往前走的過程，從畫面可以看到我從以前走到現在的脈絡。現在的我不求名不求利，只為了畫出我內心的感受。
