March 23rd was my mentor’s birthday, and I also completed a task on this day. The Up Art Group has officially been established with ten members. As for the path ahead, we may need further discussions, but at least we’ve taken the first step. Because of this, I felt particularly happy while painting today.

In the evening, while watching a music program, I saw folk singer Wang Ruiyu talk about his volunteer work teaching children with cerebral palsy how to sing. I truly admire him—teaching music to the average person is already challenging, let alone teaching children with cerebral palsy. He mentioned that when he first started, their pronunciation was unclear. Later, the program invited two of these children to perform live. I was stunned when I heard them—they sang incredibly well, nothing like what one might expect from children with cerebral palsy.

Life may not always be fair, but it always leaves a path for people to walk. My idols have never been billionaires or celebrities. The ones I truly admire are ordinary people like Chen Shu-chu—those who don’t have high incomes or live lavish lives, yet quietly dedicate themselves to helping others without asking for anything in return. Just like Hong Kong star Chow Yun-fat, who, despite his immense wealth, remains down-to-earth, takes the subway, and donates all his earnings to charity.
