Music and art are my favorite things. I used to think that elegant wording in Taiwanese songs was rare, but recently, after listening to Jiang Hui’s songs, I was pleasantly surprised. Since I’m currently rushing to create, I hope that by listening to music, I can integrate the emotions from it into my work. After going through the music of several singers I used to like, I ultimately chose Jiang Hui’s songs. Not only does she sing with deep emotion, but both the lyrics and melodies are of high quality—neither vulgar nor pretentious, yet deeply moving. Even in sorrowful songs, her voice has a soothing effect. No wonder people say that Jiang Hui’s music has comforted countless hearts. Every successful person relies not on luck, but on true effort.

音樂和藝術是我最喜歡的事。以前總覺得台語歌的用詞優雅的並不多，然而最近聽了江蕙二姐的歌，令我有驚奇之處。最近在趕著創作，所以希望自己藉由聽音樂的同時，讓自己的創作可以融入音樂的感受。聽了以前自己喜好的幾位歌手的音樂，最後選擇的是江蕙二姐的歌，除了唱的非常有感情之外，歌詞歌曲都有相當的水準。既不俗氣又能打動人心，悲傷的歌曲中，卻被二姐的歌聲撫平。怪不得有人說江蕙的歌撫慰了多少人的心。每一位成功的人靠的真的不是運氣。
