This seven-day sketching trip to Chiang Mai flew by, and in the blink of an eye, I’m already back in Taiwan. A friend who traveled with me shared a perspective that I found truly inspiring. She said, “Life is short, so why let small matters bring you down? Why let brief passersby in your life affect your mood?” Teacher Qiu-Yue also encouraged me to broaden my heart, to embrace more people, events, and things. She said this would make my creations more diverse and varied. I am grateful for both those who have helped me and those who have hindered me on this journey. Because of them, I’ve learned and grown faster. I am truly thankful.
