On Saturday, I visited Tadpole Café at Treasure Hill in Taipei to enjoy the exhibition by Teacher Jiang Lian-ni. The venue was small but very warm, and Teacher Jiang’s figurative works added even more charm to the café. Teacher Ma Fang-yu from the south and a few other teachers also came to appreciate the exhibition. Next, we went to the Biluo Art Center to attend the memorial exhibition of Teacher Huang Yan-rong. Teacher Huang’s works were truly outstanding and need no further elaboration. During the speeches given by Teacher Ma and some friends, we learned that Teacher Yan-rong was also a person deeply dedicated to the arts. It’s clear we share the same passion; perhaps that’s why fate brought us together. If Teacher Yan-rong were still here, I’m sure we’d be kindred spirits and good friends. This opportunity once again brought artists from the north, central, and southern regions together to celebrate over drinks. Teddy from Biluo shared his vision again, receiving strong support from both Teacher Ma Fang-yu and Teacher Zheng Hong-zhang. I look forward to seeing how events connecting artists across Taiwan will foster a united creative force.

星期六前往台北寶藏巖尖蚪咖啡欣賞蔣蓮霓老師的展覽。場地不大但很有溫度，蔣老師人體作品更讓咖啡廳加分不少。南部馬芳渝老師和幾位老師也特別來欣賞。接下來我們前往蓽籮藝術中心參加黃焉蓉老師的紀念展，黃老師作品相當棒就不需多著墨。在馬老師與幾位朋友致詞中了解焉蓉老師也是位為藝術奉獻心力的人。真是有志一同，怪不得老天要安排我們碰面，只是焉蓉老師走的太快，不然相信我們會是志同道合的好朋友。這次的機緣再次讓北中南畫家大會合把酒言歡。蓽籮的Teddy再次提出理念。馬芳渝老師和鄭宏章老師也大大的支持。期待北中南的活動能讓藝術家串聯起來，產生一股力量。
