About a year ago, I agreed to Teacher Ji Xiang’s proposal to organize an art market. Today, I finally fulfilled my promise by arranging the plein air location while I was on duty at the intersection of Lane 79, Section 1, Xiangshang Road, and Minsheng Road in Taichung City. Teacher Zhang Dengxin invited violinist Chen Huanjing and his wife to join us, and for the first event, we focused on portraits. We hope to eventually expand this to offer portrait painting for the public as a way to earn some extra income. However, the idea is to remain completely unrestricted, so we are now inviting all kinds of artists, including musicians, dancers, painters, poets, and street performers. We will meet at the same spot on the first Tuesday of every month to host outdoor art performances with no limitations, as long as basic etiquette is observed. Lunch is self-paid, and there are no fees for performing. The goal is simply to create a gathering place for artists. As for how this will evolve in the future? I have no idea, so let’s wait and see!
大概一年前吧，答應紀向老師的提議要弄個藝術市集。今天終於實現我的諾言了，今天趁著我當值日生的時候將寫生地點安排在台中市向上路一段79巷與民生路口。張登鑫老師邀請了小提琴家陳煥景和夫人加入，首場的演出先以人像為主，希望以後能延伸成幫民眾繪畫人像補貼點收入。但後來的想法是完全不受限，所以我們也在此徵召所有的藝術家包含音樂、舞蹈、繪畫、詩人、街頭藝人。我們一起相約於每個月的第一個禮拜二在向上路一段79巷與民生路口。舉辦戶外藝術演出，不受任何限制，但必須遵守基本的禮儀。中午用餐各自付費。演出沒有費用。純粹希望這裡成為藝術家的集合地，至於後續會如何發展呢？我也不知道？就請大家期待吧！
