“On the first and third Friday of every month at 1:30 PM, I have a regular meeting with Frog Boss, Boss Lady Xiu-Ling, and Teacher Ji Xiang. The original goal was to document the daily lives of artists, capturing interesting stories for the art world in the future.

When Teacher Ji first proposed this idea, it was shortly after the passing of Teacher He Zhaoqiu. I was deeply moved by how someone who contributed so much to Taiwan was met with such a quiet farewell, marked only by a certificate of merit. There was no complete record of his life’s work or any government action to preserve his artifacts. Without hesitation, I accepted Teacher Ji’s proposal to take on this task and set aside time for it. Unfortunately, not many artists have been willing to join in. Still, we’ve persisted in this effort, and it has now been over a year. The passing of Teacher Chen Yinhui last year only strengthened my resolve to make this project even better. Moreover, the recent news about Teacher Xiao Qin’s foundation further highlighted the importance of this work. Together with Teacher Ji, Boss Brian, and Sister Xiu-Ling, we continue to stay committed to what we’ve set out to do.”

每個月第一及第三個星期五下午1:30是我和青蛙老闆 ,秀玲老闆娘及紀向老師之約,本來是要記錄藝術家之日常.做為日後的藝術界的紀實趣聞.

當初紀老師提這事時正逢何肇衢老師仙逝不久,我有感一位對台灣有如此貢獻的藝術家怎麼在離世後如此唏噓,僅僅一張褒揚令.對於其生前的所有事蹟是否有完整紀錄及後續的文物保存政府竟然都無所動作.所以我毫不考慮答應了紀老師接下此任務.把這段時間撥出來.奈何願意撥空前來的藝術家不多.但我們依然堅持持續做這事,這樣也過了超過1年了.而去年陳銀輝老師仙逝更令我期望這事能做得更好.後續藝術家蕭勤老師的基金會事情更浮上新聞面.和紀老師及老闆布萊恩,秀玲姊也只能繼續堅持要做的事.
